SCIENTIFIC AND ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Antonella Massaro,
born in Rome on 23rd May 1981, is a Professor of Criminal Law at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre" and a teacher at the School of specialization for the legal professions of the University "Roma Tre" and several Master. Regularly spends periods of study at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Strafrecht di Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany). In the context of initiatives aimed at combine the cinematic language and the legal one, she edited the book Ultimo tango a Parigi quarant’anni dopo. Osceno e comune sentimento del pudore tra arte cinematografica, diritto e processo penale (Aracne, 2013). She is also the creator and the coordinator of the screenings-conferences “Diritto penale al cinema” in the same Department of Law. She is currently enrolled to the degree course in DAMS at the University "Roma Tre".

Ettore Battelli,
born in Catania on 16th June 1977, is Professor of Private Law at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre" and Associate professor of Institutions of Private Law at the Department of Business Studies and Law at the University of Siena. Visiting professor at the University of Oxford (UK), he has adopted innovative methods in his teaching experiences (legal clinics) aimed at involving and enhancement of the students in extra-curricular educational activities. He is scientific responsible of several Italian and European research projects in the field of contract law and the protection of minors (with particular attention to social issues and the protection of the person). He has also a vocational experience in the promotion of socio-cultural initiatives and film.

Silvia Brunelli,
born in Rome on 1st April 1988, is graduated in Law at the University "Roma Tre". She approaches the cinematic language through video editing, and then continue its journey as a screenwriter and director. She worked as assistant director, production secretary and script supervisor on several sets for the production of short films, spots and video clips, many of which have won national and international prizes. Her last short movies “Tutto il mondo è paese” took part in the David di Donatello 2013, in the official selection of the Trani International Film Festival 2013, Young Station Film Festival 2014, NotoriusFilmFestival 2014 e al VideoFestivalGiovani “Ciak Un’Emozione 2015 and won the Special Mention of the NoCrime Film Festival 2013.

Dario Ippolito,
born in the province of Vicenza on 6th December 1976, is Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre". He has been Professor of Modern History and History of Political Thought at the University of Rome "Sapienza". He is the author of monographs, encyclopedia and magazine articles in Italian and foreign. He works in the radio program On Crimes and Punishments (airing Saturday on Radio Rai 3).

Giuseppe Spoto,
is Professor of Private Law at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre". He teaches private law and agricultural law and is the author of papers on real rights, personal rights, privacy, contracts and four monographs. He is currently a member of the Academic Senate of the University "Roma Tre".

Noah Vardi,
born in Rome on 4th February 1978, is Professor of Comparative Private Law at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre" where she teaches Comparative Private Law and Comparative Legal Systems. She has been Visiting Scholar (Fulbright) at Yale Law School and at the Max-Planck-Institut für ausländisches und internationales Privatrech of Hamburg and carried courses and seminars at various universities abroad. His research focuses on issues of European private law, law and history, financial market integration. It is a member of the Board of the University Language Centre dell'Universitàdegli Studi "Roma Tre".

Francesco Cecchini,
born in Rome on 22nd May 1987, is graduated summa cum laude at the Department of Law of the University "Roma Tre". He is currently working with the chairs of Criminal Law (A-L) and Criminal Law II (A-L) at the same Department, conducts legal training at the State Attorney and participates actively in the organization of the activities included in the activity Diritto penale al cinema.

Tiziana Pica, born in Rome on 1st December 1982, is graduated summa cum laude at the Faculty of Law of the University “Roma Tre” the 6th October 2006. PhD in "Consumers and the Market" at the University of Rome "Roma Tre", she has collaborated with the chairs of Private Law and Law of Consumption and Market Rules of the Faculty of Economics of the University "Roma Tre "and produced several publications on the subject of unfair trade practices and consumer law. From 2010 to now she performs teaching duties in the field of Consumer Law and Protection of Privacy under different Master of Second Level. Is admitted to the Bar of Rome from 19th November 2009. She is specialized in civil law, antitrust law, consumer law, privacy and copyright and private practice by assisting in extrajudicial and judicial, also to small and medium-sized enterprises.
